    Hello All!

    It has been almost a year since I tore through the BACKBONE echoes to determine
    which echoes are truly dead.

    Remember that:

    BACKBONE.NA

    Contains the list of known active and distributed echoes.

    BACKBONE.NO

    Contains a list of known inactive but still distributed echoes.

    BACKBONE.DST

    Contains a list of echoes removed from distribution.

    Within the next month I will begin reviewing BACKBONE.NA and BACKBONE.NO.

    Echoes listed in BACKBONE.NO found to be still inactive will be moved to BACKBONE.DST and removed from distribution. Echoes found to be active could be returned to BACKBONE.NA..

    Echoes listed in BACKBONE.NA found to be inactive, will be moved to BACKBONE.NO
    but will remain in distribution.

    The criteria will be the past 365 days.

    If you have an echo that is inactive in either BACKBONE.NA or BACKBONE.NO, that
    has been dead for a year, now is the time to revive it, but make sure the revival is legitimate. If an echo has what amounts to be spam within it that does not deal with topic of echo, those messages wont count.

    GOod thing! Just had a downlink request a bunch of
    destroyed stuff, and hit his limit of forwarded areafix
    requests with some deadwood <g>.

    Btw hope you sent this to fidogazette and the snooze in case some echomods might not have seen this here <grin>.

    WHich is why mods should at least post rules occasionally
    <g>.
