    Contrary to some of the negative comments I have had a lot of good private e-mails and net mails... My filter's not perfect... but it's better than the raw newsgroups.

    If there is anyone out there that wants a newsgroup gated please feel free to contact me ... even if it's privately gated just to your system I don't mind doing it.

    How about doing comp.folklore and alt.comp.freeware? I read both daily. :)

    You got it! It will take Whammy (the Spammy Filter) a day to crawl for spam and adjust her filters... but should be active by Wendsday at the latest.

    Funny you say that... I tripped over Kitty Kat this afternoon and landed knee first on the metal threshold between the kitchen linoleum and the carpet... it split my knee open right down the middle. Had more than a dozen stitches... and now have to wear an awful knee immobilizer.

    Kitty Kat will live... still love her... just have to watch for the 18 pound obsticle that roams my floors more closer now.

    alt.comp.freeware is flowing... having problems finding tag for comp.folklore

    I can find a comp.society.folklore is this the one you want?

    HI Allen,

    tHe newsgroup rec.audio.pro would be a good addition as well for those who are into audio production, either in their home studio or professionally as I am.

    DOn't bother with the home studio groups, bur rec.audio.pro would be the best of the bunch.
