• Windows 10, again.

From Jean Parrot@1:123/789 to Holger Granholm on Wed Jan 6 08:31:56 2016
    Holger , good day.

I haven't been able to open the C:\ or any partition without a file manager.

Click on the small Window at the far left of the taskbar, File Explorer is there. Click on it and it will open a menu where at the bottom of it, you
will see your NAME (C:\). This will let you see the whole HD.

Yes, I think it has been deleted, but when I get my file manager,
ZTreeWin installed, it will be much easier for me to maneuver around to find out what actually is there.

As always, it is all in what one is used to !

I haven't used Explorer even in the XPp, but just recently had a look at it. I didn't find it very useful, as compared to the ZTW (ZTreeWin).

I think that it is all "same-same", do not block your mind to new stuff,
    Holger.

    Good morning Jean,

The tag line seems appropiate for the discussion at hand. I didn't pick
it, it just happened to be there, hi, hi.

Yes I know how the Explorer displays the HD directories but I don't like
that display of "portfolios" that have to be opened to see whats in them

I have it of course in my laptop XPp, but I don't find any IE in this
new (to me) laptop. I'll check again with what I learned from you and
to remind me, I have also saved this valued message.

Correct of course, we still continue to learn.

The last days I've been occupied with other work, and haven't had time
to play with my new toy, <BG>.
