• Porting Back to OS/2

From ROBERT WOLFE@1:116/18 to ALL on Sun Nov 23 01:16:00 2014
Hi folks! I was wondering what it would take to build OS/2 native binaries
from the Maximus and Squish source code hosting on SourceForge? Or, has
    this already been done?

we used to be able to just run make and get it to compile... then several folks
got involved and some changes were made here and there... bugs fixed, other stuff broken... after several months, i was unable to get it to build at all and those working on it had disappeared... its still sitting on that old redhat
drive that's powered off in that old 486-100 machine... yeah, it has been that long since anything was done and that machine ran on for another several years before being powered down and replaced with a dual PIII setup...

I _think_ I have the original os/2 binaries here if that's any help..

    sqshp111.lzh is here in http://www.filegate.net/maximus_bbs/

Not sure if that helps.... I'm also pretty sure I have the original squish source code here somewhere. I can dig more if you both would like me to.

    Take care,
    Janis

If my memory isn't failing me, The Squish code is in the same archive as the Maximus BBS code.
