You can now download the latest successfully-built Synchronet C/C++ source code archives:
ftp://vert.synchro.net/Synchronet/sbbs_src.zip (Win32)
ftp://vert.synchro.net/Synchronet/sbbs_src.tgz (Linux)
(each archive is about 2.5MB in size at this time)
These files will be automatically updated nightly, as long as the source is successfully built by the automated testbuild.js script. If the source cannot be built, the errors are e-mailed to me and the archives are not updated.
This allows sysops that build Synchronet from source to not have to rely on the integrity of the current CVS snapshot at any given time (which may or may not successfully build).
The archives also contain the CVS sub-directories required for later "cvs updates" should the sysop desire to download incremental updates (which may or may not successfully build at any given time).
Mind you, the source archives above may well contain bugs. Binaries (executables) built from the source may not even run (they *should* of course, but you never know). The only gaurantee is that the primary projects contained in the archive built successfully on one of my automated build systems (the exact details of which will be included in a README.TXT file). :-)
