I noticed 2 addresses hitting my smtp server over and over so I used it filtering. That stopped them from getting into the smtp server. I have about 10 pages in log showing they are being blocked. Does anyone block any of the Russian or Chinese ips that bombard the web and telnet
servers?

If I have an ip that is causing me a lot of trouble, I will add it to the ip-silent.can file. While a lot of them are Russian and Chinese, I also
have several from Ukraine, Eastern Europe in general, Vietnam, the Koreas, and Central/South America.
