I have no idea what this person is talking about. My BBS doesn't have this "red bar" for keyboard input. I'm guessing it's possibly a terminal program they're using? Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I had someone leave this message without a proper return email address.
"Just a heads up, when chicking on the red bar (Keyboard Input) on the home screen, it disconnects you from the system. I've tried it several times, clicking on different parts of the bar and the result's the same."

fTelnet has such a bar. Sounds like it's one big disconnect button, or there's a bug.
I was thinking maybe he was using the web interface but ...ah there it is. When you click on a differnet window.
Nope, seems to be working fine when I click it. Maybe it's a specific browser or OS that has the issue. It's a crap shoot since the user didn't leave any details.

if only you could open up the user editor and see his email address and email him about it. no, better to ask on a msg network about YOUR
bbs.
