Is there a way to save an email address, so it
could easily be reused for future emails?

Rather than having to type in a full netmail address
or internet address, use an alias or lookup previously
used email when composing within synchronet at the
    netmail prompt?

Or maybe is this a possible editor feature? Is there
a editor for synchronet when composing emails can look
    up address?

Pressing up-arrow should recall previously entered email/netmail addresses for you.

I have made a JS version of the smeg@ addressbook. I made it to be
compatible with the existing file format, however I think so few people
ever used or still use it, that I'm going to convert it to use json so
it'll be easier to maintain and expand.
It also supports lookup from FTN nodelists and QWK networks, however
that may still need a bit of work since it was a sort of a hack.
Give me a few days to work on it.
If you want a preview of how it works, you can have a look at endofthelinebbs.com and then go to Email and Send.
