You're talking about the fTelnet app. Double-check the ftelnet setting in the [web] section of your ctrl/modopts.ini file.

    ftelnet is set to true

Okay, well that's the fTelnet app you're asking about. Maybe post a link to a screen shot or a URL so we can see what you're talking about.

i am trying to figure out how to add an attachment i may have to do it on the facebook group page
i see the connect via telnet button, it works fine on a desktop/laptop. On my ipad or phone it produces no pop up keyboard like on your web page. with the connect and menu buttons. I cannot type anything in or login via the web page on mobile devices. I do have a screen shot as a jpg but do not know how to add it to this reply.

Probably that is an issue with the terminal program you are attempting to
use on the ipad/phone. Many people have had some success with a mobile terminal app called 'MuffinTerm'.

Upload it to a web-site like imgur (or one of your own) and copy the link to a reply message here.

    https://wiki.synchro.net/config:webv4#ftelnet

You need to enable the websocket (and possibly websocket-secure) services as described in the wiki. It's likely that ftelnet won't show up on your page at all until you do that, though I don't remember for sure.

You shouldn't need to define any of the ftelnet* settings in modopts.ini [web] unless you want to override the defaults - and ftelnet is turned on by default.

I tried visiting http://ricksbbs.synchro.net/ but was unable to connect, so couldn't troubleshoot any further.
