    Zelensky didn't believe Russia would be so foolish. He proved wrong. The world didn't believe Ukraine could hold out. The world proved wrong. Compared to the surprise attack, the Russians haven't been able to make any gains in the last three and a half years, partly because they had to relinquish vast swaths of territory near Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson. Russia isn't going to win this war either. Unfortunately, Moscow isn't willing to admit that yet.
