Oh boy, that's wonderful news. Quite an odd URL though. What or who would "ning.com" reference, one immediately wonders. Time to download a new version of Virtual Pascal now. Thanks for this news. Be sure to relay it over to Bryan Turner (v@vbsoft.org) for his Bbsnews.org site.

ning.com is one of those social networking sites. If you get on there, you'll see what I mean. I have created an account using my real name and have uploaded my picture.

It's like facebook... Groan. I joined anyway just because I like VP, but that
forum software is really bad. :( Spoiled by fido. :)

Yeah, I know (about the facebook thing). But at least Allan bothered coming back unlike a lot of developers.

Let's help spread this great package in any way we can.

Absolutely. VP is one of the most undervalued programs I've ever used...it's much more polished than FPC IMNSHO. Maybe I should put up a page on my website listing mirrors for VP.

It was probably one of the (The most) most expensive peice of shareware I ever
purchased as well. (BAck when it was for sale, it is so slick compaired to FPC
etc, and I like the fact that it's compatable with most BP code.

I'm currently fighting with FPC on the mac right now to try and port some of my old programs, (Main one I'm after is my signature manager, as I miss taglines. :) )
