Hello all!
Is there still interest in keeping this echo? If not,
then we need to look into a graceful shutdown. If
there is interest in keeping it, then we need to get
people using it.

<<sigh>> if i had seen the
indication that there was a message in here, i'd have answered ml>
At least your message got out, I don't know why David didn't see it.

minimal traffic echo can produce results which have to be carefully
thought about. That is exactly what, I suspect, is happening right
now.
I don't run Apache so I can't help with that. I hope
you can solve your problem. :)
BTW, you posted that message in the OS2DOSBBS echo, or
at least it came in here in that echo.

I could have, for example, tossed the recent thread on viri and OS/2 [...]

I show the following for the MSGAREA.CTL for MAX here at 3001 on it:...snipped...
MsgArea 260
Tag OS2INET
Path c:\msg\os2init
At the HUB here at 1:117/100 that's also under me I show:
MsgArea 260
Desc OS2INET (FIDO)
Path H:\FIDO\OS2INET
Tag OS2INET
End MsgArea
In the SQUISH control side of things there I show:
EchoArea OS2INET H:\FIDO\OS2INET -$ 1:106/1 117/3001
So I don't think that the cross pollination of this lovely flowerlette
is happening via my bumbling bee!
I can't help it, but I notice that this OS2INET area
is kept in the c:\mgs\os2init directory (note the last
'i' instead of 'e')...
So why is the first one kept in os2init and this one
in os2inet? They are in different paths anyway, so
even if they are on the same system, they are still
kept apart.
I don't see that cross pollination in your setup, so
it looks like it's cross pollinated somewhere else.
Perhaps hopefully someone can track this down.

about two weeks to either do or die. So I simply took hard disk space
and carved it all up out on one drive and cloned it all onto there.
The bee turned to him and said, "Well, confidentially, I'm a regular
bee and he's an Esso Bee!"
Not anything at all personal here .. just in complete humor, OK? Some networking problems are like this! They look alike, they buzz alike,
they toss around alike in the dark, but are just heck to find!
