    Wow, after installing NANSI.SYS, my system flew. There were still problems with the particular screens as they were very complicated. I dumped those screens in favor of smaller, faster screens.

    Well, son of a gun! Glad it worked. Yah, I stay away from large
    ansi screens or those with effects, blinking etc. Sometimes that
    Lord opening screen, the 2 vertical page dragon is slow, but it
    has never jerked. I find a lot depends on the incoming baud, but I
    seldom see anything less then 28800 for user modems now. Telnet
    can be slow even locked at 57600. I suppose that has more to do
    with the load on the various servers along the connect path tho.
