How can I get Maximus/2 to run over/on a telnet connection when my ISP is

CABLE_MODEM? VMODEM is EASY when using Dialup to the net. How do us
guys running some REAL SPEED (with OS/2) get it to work?

Thankyou in advance to anyone with info!

As long as the tcpip network is carrying the telnet port signal on the max
box, fire up vmodem first then the bbs telnet nodes.

Otherwise, it's the same stuff on the sio lines. What i also do is
use su to lock each telnet node's comport at 57600 and in my modem
section of the bbs config, make sure I have the 57600 set up, as well
as force the bbs to use 57600 only with a command line arg on the bbs exe.

I don't use max, but I would think it's all the same, regardless.

    Cheers...
