Where would be the best place to find Jack?
Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
Stu ..
Where would be the best place to find Jack?
I have an Email dialogue that went on between us over expanding his operation to include FidoNet directly. He became interested in adding Telnet access to
it and so on a while back. Memory says, without looking, that he took and has
password to 1:117/3001 for a look see and liked the general idea of what was around, echowise (the concept) never having, as I recall, been in FidoNet before. IIRC, there was a part of the discussion as to feeds for this. I don't mind feeding my tiny flock in Net 117 via Telnet as needed, nor taking user access via Telnet from afar .. and have some. But the issue of a formal feed like that, I reason, should really be closer to home.
I noted to him, per my recall, whom(s) that might could become, and thought from what I knew about this and that, he wouldn't have any problem expanding his deal, either technically, or politically.
I think he said that at a later date when he got more time, he would be interested in pursuing this deal, But I've not heard any more about it.. If memory is right, I picked up his Email address off one of the postings in the
Newsgroups. All you should have to do is to look him up in Deja or whatever a
there ought to be a pointer to him for that.
Or do you want me to try to open up that Email channel again and approach him or what?
