• Weasel...

From Robert Wolfe@1:116/17 to All on Sat Dec 24 18:30:28 2016
    Hi all!

Having a slight issue where the latest Weasel does not seem to be recognizing local users on all my domains even though the users exist in said domains when email is sent to them. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, could you please advise as to how to go about fixing this?

    Thanks!

this is probably better off on the mailing list where peter is but let's ask a few questions, first...

are you using INI or TXI configs?

were you using the older paid-for multi-domain version and then upgraded to the
freeware version where everything is available?

what happens if you drop back a version? how far back do you need to drop for it to work properly?

    Same thing.

how far back have you tried going before it works properly?

i haven't done multiple domains with weasel for various reasons... the main one
is because i set up another solution on one of my *nix servers which handles all mail like a central post office... my weasel only handles mail for its domain and sends everything else to the central post office for further distribution... i read through the docs on multiple domains some time back but i don't recall if user definitions take the domain as part of their format or not... yeah, i think i'd take this to the mailing list...
