    ¡Hola g00r00!

    Is it possible that add option for auto-create 8.3 message area to "CUT" the "." in the area name?. For example:

    New area ESP.ARGENTINA

    Now the 8.3 format is: ESP.ARGE
    I need this name: ESPARGE

    This is because GoldED not work with areas that contain ".".

    I will put that in the next build for you!

    In the meantime you can also turn on randon hex names for auto create which would
    not have this issue.
