    Hello g00r00!

    Can you please add a option into the file base area's to be able to choose the number of days files should be kept.

    Ie:

    Days Old: 0 (Default, keep all files).
    Days Old: 90 (Delete files that are 90 day's old)

    I would like to prune some files from certin area's, such as nodelist area's, Image area's (That come in via .tic).
    Make the number of days, sysop configurable.

    I'd like to see this too, please & thanks. Every so often I'll go in and blow away the NODELIST or DAILYLIST file echo as I don't really need several years worth of nodelists in there.

    Paul uses the REPLACE verb in the .tic file so there's only the most recent nodelist, which I appreciate.

    Perhaps an alternative could be have the option to replace files of the same name even if the REPLACE verb isn't specified? (e.g. NODELIST.002 would automatically replace NODELIST.001).

    I will put this on the TO DO list. In the meantime you can also delete the files yourself using your operating system based on their age and MUTIL's PackFileBases can remove them from your listings:

    [PackFileBases]

    ; If true, MUTIL will check to make sure files exist, and will update
    ; file size in the listing, optionally removing missing files ; (remove_missing)

    check_files = true

    ; If true, MUTIL will remove any files which do not exist from the file
    ; list database while checking integrity. Otherwise they will be flagged
    ; OFFLINE in the file listing. 0 byte files are considered "missing"

    remove_missing = false

    ... This virus requires Microsoft Windows 3.x

    I'm already doing this every month or so, but it would be great if mystic could do it.

    Also, would be nice if the "Message Index List" included a column for date of the post so when looking through a long list of posts you can easily see when the post was made and know if it's worth responding to it or not.

    Its possible to add it yourself now if you want to now, but I will add it to my list of to do items!
