    Folks, back in June, I got talked into adding door.sys startup compatibility out of Mystic for my Node.js app by a Mystic BBS sysop/player. It supports legacy VT100, PC ANSI, and XTerm-256 with Unicode terminal emulation. Running its built-in web
    portal & telnet service is optional.

    While the latest available is mature code, a new v3.2 major release is coming out shortly.

    Looks pretty cool. I may download it it at some point. Don't have Node set up on my BBS machine but it would be pretty simple. In the meantime I've added your telnet service into my remote doors menu.

    The pre-release of v3.2 has been uplifted to use the latest Node.js runtime with ES2020 compliance. It is now online for BETA play. This is a shakedown to address lingering regressions and the board is targeted to identify & correct them for a full
    restart on Saturday 9/11. I appreciate your patience & time by having to register NEW to contribute with BETA play this week.

    A lot of enhanced features, most notably, every player starts with a dingy boat (that cannot be completely destroyed by cannon fire) and each player class has differing starting assets to entice the adventurer. The starting Novice class should also
    provide for a gentler introduction into the game dynamics.

    Certain rings are no longer useful/transferable to another player. And the Cursed ring now has the added feature of cursing any player that initiates the battle engagement with its bearer, but then chooses to retreat.
