• Error -1

From Flavio Bessa@4:801/188 to All on Mon May 17 11:25:56 2021

    Hello,

After solving the issues related to echomail, I have configured my
experimental system at my raspberry pi to work only with NNTP services.

After making the necessary changes at the config, running sudo ufw allow
119, I ran ./mis server and got this error below:

“Unable to open IPV4 port: Error -1 (13)”

    What else can I check?

I can't really tell based on what I am seeing here how to resolve your problem, but a quick google shows error 13 is permission denied.

Sounds like the OP either needs to start mis as root, or use setcap to allow the Mystic user to bind low ports.

Or the third option is to simply use ports > 1024. Not my preferred option, but works in a pinch. I use the setcap method myself. :)

Indeed, a sudo did the trick. All is working now, thank you. :)
