  • new young pony club

    New Young Pony Club has a new release out, and its called The Optimist. Its
    a 10 track
    album with some good rock and dance music elements. Don't expect the album
    to be filed
    with electronic beats constantly, the guitar is still featured in many of
    the album's

    tracks.

    The first single Chaos is pretty good, but I liked the remix by Rory
    Phillips more. My

    suggestion for the band is to release a remix EP because it might get more people to want

    to listen to the album.

    Compared to Fantastic Playroom, their debut album both albums do maintain
    the style of the

    band. However if you are new to the Pony Club you should get Fantastic
    Playroom first.

    If you like New Order, you will like the New Young Pony Club. Both bands
    have songs you can

    dance to, but many of their songs are basically rock and you can chill out
    to.

    I rate the album $8.50 on a $10 scale. $1 means crap, $10 means buy it.

    Its sad that they retired, but sometimes its best to retire when you are on ahigh note.
    But other bands can carry on the legacy on their own way.

    Yes.. Indeed, it's like when a movie has been a success and they make a
    crappy second version of it.... Better stop in time...

    But other bands can carry on the legacy on their own way.
