Quoting Sean Dennis to All <=-
Hello, All.
I /KNOW/ there's more people in here than us. :)
I'm usually in here somewhere...`cept when my computer(s) are
having "issues" (which has been the case for the last couple of
months) with /ANTIQUATED/ hardware.
Hello, All.
For all the links I see in my seen-by kludges, there's no one in here that wants to talk about music? I generally see posts by Matt and myself and tha it. I /KNOW/ there's more people in here than us. :)
okay, check-out ftp://vert.synchro.net/music/WP/ :-)

If you're playing a special venue or have announcements about your band, they're welcome in here. Speaking of which, are you doing much with WP thes days? Since you've become a busy papa, haven't heard much from ya. :)
I expect to do some recording with a prog-rock band I used to play
with back in the 80's (Dresden) here in the near future and will
keep you posted. :-)

Do, please. I'm interested definitely. Are you guys selling CDs anymore? need some new music for my collection...
No, but I could send you an ISO.
The last post that was not from Matt, me or my autoposter was 27 July. That pretty sad. :(

I understand. What's going on?
Hello, All.
Okay, there's about 50-something nodes connected to this echo and it's dead quiet. Surely someone has something to say about music. ;)

Did you say something? We're all wearing headphones.

Nothing about current music, haven't listened to it in decades.

I haven't listened to the "top 40" stuff since about 1995
myself (granted, I'm 34, so the "decades" are different for
me).
I mostly now just trade in MP3s with friends of the same
musical tastes.
The problem is that music is no longer music; it's a machine that
grinds out talentless idiots for a less-than-intelligent crowd that
will settle for anything that remotely sounds like it has a
beat.
That reminds me of the line that Elwood Blues says
on the introduction of the Blues Brothers' CD, "Briefcase
Full of Blues". It goes something like "in 2006, blues
will only be found in the classical section at your local
public library". It's darn near that now with many types
of music, sadly.
Too true! Too True! Now the funny thing about your mentioning this
album is, I actually own a copy of the album...from when it first came
out as an LP.

That's a great one. I have it on CD, but I like it a lot.

I have to agree. I liked the LP so much, I burned myself a copy
(after I d/l'ed most of it).

I'd keep the vinyl, though. Collector's item there.

Been doin' that for over 40 years. Kept the vinyl, kept the bakelite, kept the lacquer, kept the wax ...

Do the wax records still hold up after all this time?
