    Hey Andrew,

    Can you give me an example what nodelist entries are required for mbse to
    make an IFCICO call, not a BINKP call?

    I'm trying to connect to a DOS bbs running Portal of Power (initiating an
    EMSI session). If I start mbico directly, manually with -t ifc, it connects happily.

    However, if I have IFC in the nodelist or anything other than IBN, then the "URL" is blank and it doesnt call. As soon as a port IBN in the nodelist, it reverts to binkp://...

    My knowledge of C is not very good - and I've been looking through the code today and cannot figure out how getnlent() is working that out...

    Isnt it annoying, you spend hours trying to work this out and then you post
    the mail for "help", then seconds later you figure it out ! Argh...

    I needed IFC as one of my flags - so its I'm now a step closer.

    Its not calling, but the logs are showing a poll created and this:

    Check your TCP/IP flags entry in mbsetup 1.14.3. By default, MBSE will only enable protocols that are listed there.

    Mine is set to:

    IBN,IFC,ITN:60177,XX,CM

    MBSE will always use BinkP if both options are available, as BinkP is more efficient. To override, you can override the flags for the node in question.

    So I've got some more debugging to do...

    If in doubt also look at log/mbtask.log and see if it can or cannot find a method to call with.

    E.g., for me if it is a modem connection only it will repoort has no method as I no longer run modems.

    So now if I can a node I double check that they are on INA service and if not send routed.
