• MBSE no Web

From Tony Comandini@2:250/5 to All on Wed Jan 4 16:17:29 2017
    Hi Guys,
I really missed in MBSE the feature for reading messages by iPhone or iPad, using the web interface. In other BBS software is possible read/post messages via web and with all the idevices or a simple browser, on MBSE is mandatory connect in telent with tools like vssh which is not the best solution for my eyes.

Is there any opportunity to read/post messages via web or port 119 ?

I tend to agree; a web interface would be a good addition to MBSE BBS (it not having that is one reason why it's not the sole BBS app I'm running...), but someone would need to write it...

There appears to be NNTP reader apps available, at least for Andriod; but I've not had the chance to test them out...

    Hi Jame
Thanks for your answer I fixed the problem installing ftelnet with a reverse proxy, but a native web interface should be fine, even the opportunity to use API which is fine for different stuff. At the moment I backup everything on S3 via Json but using API should be easy. In 2017 if the BBS would be competitive needs to maintain the "retro" flavour with new technology.

    Thanks

    Tony
