From Gert Andersen@2:230/150 to All on Tue Oct 30 22:54:50 2012
    Hello All!

I have to find out why my mbse not respons and is getting its hostname right, there can ping to the hostnames but mbse isn't respons and answer on the 4 ports of binkp, fido and tfido + telnet.

my /etc/init.d/mbsebbs file have enable those ports as on the other systems there have mbsebbs running and I have too mbsebbs in /etc/inetd.d/

    Take care,
    Gert

Firewall issue, perhaps? (And I assume that the system can call out?)

I found the issue and where the problem was and it was in my xinetd.conf file where a line should disables with a #
Where the line has use localhos only.
