Dude it won't run in DOS, period. Get an old DOS disk and try it.
Now, I'm frustrated and I was looking for some assistance from some of the other posters. Instead all I get is lip from a smarmy little twit like you.
2007, like hell, you're just as bad as the 14 year olds whose parents never paid any attention to them so they'd go raise hell all over everyones boards back in the 80's and 90's.
If you can't be helpful then just go away.
okay, cyan tells me that he too gets this lordcfg error.bbs,
It appears there is a lord v 4.07 lordcfg/dosemu issue. More likely a flaw in
dosemu.
you could use deuce's version of bbs dosbox, OR run v4.06.. or run
the linux flavor of lord v407
i wouldnt really blame this on the lord developer; this version of lord isnt intended to be ran on linux...that's one of the perils of running a linux
i guess.
Another option people could explore is having a friend on a win32 system setup lord with the information you provide [or use a VM], taking those data files and then see if the lord executable will run with dosemu.
You're a putz. DOS 6.22 is what I tried it on, it doesn't work. And basically your kind of help no one needs because your smart mouth comes along with it. Michael already took care of it for me, he has handled this with class, you've handled it like the juvenile you try and make everyone else out to be.
