BTW, if you need a SRIF file request processor with filelist generator please have a look at https://github.com/ftnapps/mfreq ;)

As a matter of fact I am part way through the setup of mfreq now. Thank you for
    putting that together for us.

One problem I have been seeing is that mfreq-index seem to stop processing when
it encouters a file in the files.bbs with a blank line in the description. I've been walking through my files.bbs and putting a "." on blank lines or removing them. Is it possible that mfreq can be updated to support files.bbs with a blank line in the description?

I think you mean mfreq-list. It shouldn't be any problem to add that (skipping of empty descriptions).

    Cheers,
    Markus

You are right. I just removed some of those "."'s from my files.bbs and they are still being indexed correctly.

Whatever I was thinking was wrong.. :)

BTW, mfreq-list already has a switch to allow empty data fields in files.bbs. Just set "InfoMode Skips".

    Markus
