Categories: Pork, Vegetables, Herbs
Yield: 4 servings
4 (7 oz ea) bone-in pork loin
- chops
1 ts Paprika
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Onion powder
1/4 ts Pepper
2 tb Olive oil
Chopped fresh parsley; opt
Set oven @ 375+|F/190+|C.
In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt, pepper and onion
powder together. Rub the spice mix over both sides of
the pork chops.
In a large cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, heat
oil over medium-high heat. Be sure the skillet and oil
are hot before adding the pork so you can get a great
golden color.
Transfer the pork chops to the oven and bake, uncovered,
about 20 to 25 minutes. Learn how to bake pork chops.
Let the pork chops stand for 5 minutes before serving;
you can tent the pork with foil to keep warm. This will
make the pork chops even more tender and juicy when you
slice into it. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
