    Didn't know the TenTec Scout keyer is type B. That may explain why so many friends complain about the Scout keyer and avoid using it. Now I can inform them and perhaps they can avoid attaching their outboard keyers.

    I was trying to get to the point that I didn't have any "extra" stuff
    on my operating table.
    I finally decided to use the Curtis type B and get "used" to it.
    Actually, it doesn't take an awfully long time. A few hours to start
    with, and a QSO or so a day keeps one in practice. I don't like it,
    but I didn't want to use the outboard keyer I built from the Curtis
    chip back about 1983.
