    I bought a very nice key at a local flea market for just 6ukp, which I thought was quite a bargain.

    It is of American origin, having FK102 engraved on the armature, just under the
    knob, and CTE-26003A engraved on the base.

    Is this a fairly common ex-services key, generally available in the USA or Canada?

    I am putting it to good use on the 30m and 40m bands.

    6ukp being equivalent to U$4?

    I don't know. I put my one and only straight key in a box and never
    looked at it again, right after I passed the 13wpm code test, c1978-79.

    I am putting it to good use on the 30m and 40m bands.
