You may be surprised, but it was Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO) that
got me listening to rock music. It was their grooving rock sound
    that I liked.

No, I'm actually not that surprised....

The Guess Who's 'Nashville Sneakers' was really nice and jazzy, and
that song got me into finding out who Randy Bachman was, which led
    me to BTO.

I was a big fan of the Guess Who, and of Randy Bachman's guitar
playing from the very beginning. And I was actually disappointed with
BTO for becoming a rather generic sounding pop-rock band. Still, I
quite liked some of their early songs.
On almost every album they made (both with and without Randy), The
Guess Who displayed 'jazzy' influences. "Undun" was one of the
earliest to actually become a hit, but every one of the Guess Who's
dozen or so albums had some kind of jazzy song on it.
BTW, Randy Bachman isn't actually on "Nashville Sneakers". It came
out almost two years after he left the group.

I remember borrowing the LPs 'Not Fragile' and 'Four Wheel Drive'
from a classmate in high school. I don't know if I listened to
all of BTO's albums ... can you help refresh my memory?

    Sure. Here's a partial discography:

    Bachman-Turner Overdrive - 1973
    Bachman-Turner Overdrive II - 1973
    Not Fragile - 1974
    Four Wheel Drive - 1975
    Head On - 1975
    Best of B.T.O. (So Far) - 1976
    Freeways - 1977
    Street Action - 1978
    Rock 'n' Roll Nights - 1979
    Bachman Turner Overdrive - 1984
All Time Greatest Hits Live - 1986
    Greatest Hits - 1987

I sure wanna trip all the way back to the good old days. The
Canadian maple leaf was used a lot as a logo, right?

I'm honestly not sure. I've probably seen most of the albums, but
I've never actually owned one. They got so much radio airplay here
in Canada that you really didn't need to buy the albums to hear them
    all the time. ;-)

Let me recall some of the song titles: 'You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet,'
'Not Fragile,' 'Takin' Care Of Business,' 'Welcome Home,' 'Looking
Out For Number One' ... I can't recall all of them. It's been a
while and I'm scouting around for CDs. :-)

Ack! You missed my two personal favourites, "Blue Collar", and
    "Let It Ride". ;-)

    Martin
