Raspbian is a Debian-based OS, so there should be no problems building GoldEd in place from sources.

No clue what a filegate is.

    Golded compiled fine here.
You can download my executable here, if the dynamic libraries match, it may run
    on your system.

I used source from SourceForge https://sourceforge.net/projects/golded-plus/files/
It compiled and run perfectly fine on my Ubuntu linux VPS. Should not be different for Raspbian.
I don't have spare memory card to try this on my Pi 3 (don't wanna lose my emustation).

Thank you SOooooo much for that link. I D/L'd the 2017--03-03 source and it compiled 1st time out of the box! Runs perfectly, too. I must have been using the wrong/old source lol

this is exactly why gert should NOT be hatching development code... he has been
requested several times to not do this but apparently he doesn't understand plain english...

This is exactly where I was going with my comments as well. When development code ends up on third party sites (including the filegate) it can be altered from it's original state.

Something even as stupid as zipping up the sources and not including any/all subdirectories can screw things up pretty bad.

exactly! we won't even mention trying to recover from corrupted zips or what happens when one is created that overruns zip's structural limitations...

Done for all R50 areas and left Gert with hatching privs in some FDNs like LNX*
and PASCAL-NET file echos. I changed the import node for R50 areas,
and Taurus to your system, see the latest filegate.zxx :) Thank you Michael!
