New here, although I have set up several bbs servers years ago, and I think I even messed around with synchronet a while back. So I decided to join this bbs and just get back into it a little. Like most that are probably on here, I recently was caught in a wave of nostalgia for the 90's, when I used to dial into bbs servers, and use telnet over the internet. So I figured I'd dabble a little bit.

I run linux variations on all my systems, the one I am currently typing on is running Parrot, but most of my older equipment runs some flavor of LinuxMint. I'm simply using the telnet console that is built into the terminal right now, however I may end up trying to find a decent stand alone graphical client if anyone has a Linux based suggestion I'm all ears.

I recommend checking out SyncTERM (syncterm.net) if you haven't already..
