• Thought you wanted a BBS ?

Thought I wanted a BBS. I put one online in 1990. WWIV. Now I think I will be rewarded by GOD for doing it again.
This time, I like the SBBS, Synchronet. Thing is, the events are difficult to manage for me. So, I get them corrected, and think the programmer is friendly. I must be mistaken. How do you feel when The guy that wrote it says that you can leave any time, he doesn't care, and sends you to blank pages for support? Then while you read the bbs you see certain people do get help, and do seem to get friendly replies. Utmost in my year with WWIV, I remained helpful, and friendly because that image is 100% Goodwill. So, basically I am without software support. RushFan around? I went to The Eagles Dare BBS a WWIV Mainstay for years after that. So, I'm a nobody. At least to Mr. Swindell. WHY DO I CARE AT ALL ABOUT ANYTHING..

The page I sent you to for support was https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:support

It's not blank. What on earth are you even talking about?

You don't seem to care to read and do seem eager to complain. So my guess is that you care more about making noise than actually running a successful BBS. But you do you. And leave God out of it; He doesn't care if you run a BBS or not.

BBSING is mostly a self serve endevor, the problem is even the paid programs are even take it or leave it. I liked Winserver, but I had a year where i paid hector almost 200 bucks for the year and got nothing out of it.

Why run a BBS. It's much work with little reward. Might be fun if I wrote
the code myself. But that would take a long time. More time than I have. I don't know how Rob did it.
