Thanks for letting me know - fixed for now. The Win7 VM that runs bbs.synchnro.net doesn't auto-mount the Samba share when it reboots. I need to fix that permanently.

Telemate's ansi emulation is good on bbs. On vert. and cvs., bad ansi makes it hard to use. IDK why bbs is better, but I'm glad it is.

bbs.synchro.net is running Synchronet v3.20
cvs.synchro.net and vert.synchro.net are running Synchronet v3.21, which has a new implementation of terminal emulation (e.g. ANSI) output, so I'm particularly interested in any differences in compatibility you're observing.

What version of Telemate are you using? Can you provide raw data captures for each and descriptions what is "good" or "bad" in each?

I tested Telemate (v4.20) myself and noticed some new oddities in v3.21 (most likely introduced as part of Deuce's new terminal abstraction changes) and created gitlab issues to track:
