    I used to love KFC growing up in the 1980s and 1990s. Now as a dad in my 40s, I've tried KFC original and extra crispy recipes and they settle really poorly on me.

    Instead, I find that Popeyes and Bojangles (the latter is a chain prominent in the South, and delicious!) are wonderful fried chicken restaurants with great recipes. And they settle great, to boot!
