Yesterday, I discovered a guy has actually successfully set up a BBS on a smartphone. I telneted onto it and it worked. I'm not sure if it is running full time or what, but as I get more details, I'll share them here.
But how practical can it be in the long run? I mean.. if it
still requires pressing the arrow keys to navigate? Sure, many interfaces double with hot-keys, but how does this actually
look? Is the whole menu of key options on one screen? How does
an 80char wide presentation of the bbs interface render on a
smarphone for the user (or is it a different menu design)?
How 'bout some screenshots? :)
