    back the same way or same how or does the reply have to go back via another e-mail address

    Please restate the question.

    Ok, I can get e-mail out throught relay mail.synchro.net
    so the questions is can I get the reply back in to the bbs

    Yes. What is your BBS's hostname? Do you have an MX record set for your
    hostname? If not, then replies will attempt to be sent to TCP port 25 at the
    IP
    address which resolves to your BBS's hostname. If you can't receive SMTP
    traffic to your BBS on port 25, you'll need some other system to be your
    mail
    exchange" in which case you configure your hostname's MX record to point to
    this other system. See http://wiki.synchro.net/faq:tcpip#receive_mail for
    details.

    like from my bbs I can send a message to my private e-mail address
    so I like to answer it and send it back to the bbs mail box.

    And that's not working?

    The return e-mail message, the message say cannot connected to when I reply from private e-mail address

    Ian, goto: canyouseeme.org and see if your provider is allowing port 25. Also check to see if you have port 25 open through your router.

    Don't know. You'd have to ask dtdns if they offer mail reflecting
    og port 25 to 465.

    Okay will ask dtdns about that, if not well I beable to use onip.com
    (no-ip)

    DTDNS does not do mail reflecting, at least not last time I asked.

    Seems that's the case... :)

    Mail Reflector $39.95/yr

    This one, it's easier for you.

    Okay, then it might have to be this one as per below

    so whick 1 should I use, or is there another there I should use.

    OK.. did some research for spark.co.nz and they will unblock port 25
    for you.... goto this page..

    store.spark.co.nz/forms/s/port25-requests

    I would like to thank you very much for doing the research for me per spark and port 25, I did request with the link above but my internet
    plan is unlimited, and they dosn't support unblock port 25,

    They do say I could change plans to a business plans with a free static
    ip then they will open port 25 but cost me 30.00 more a month, so I
    think the Mail Reflector $39.95/yr I probabaly have to got for, unless
    you think the business one would be better with the free static ip.

    as far as Mail Reflector I have to get intouch with spark per
    what port no to use ssl right.

    The reflector no.... you tell no-ip what port you want to use. I advise port 465 as it is an SSL port. Sparks does things a little different than up this way... you can get information from them here by chosing one of the clients to help you with port submission....

    while I am here, just like to as about binkd and mailbox
    I have setup 10:10/1 node with d:\\mailbox which has a season password
    and works fine
    but I would like to do the same with this

    node 719:550/1@cscnet -md cscnet1.net:24554 D:\\mailbox2

    with out a season password put it just won't pickup the files
    does it have to have a season password.

    Try this..... ode 719:550/1@cscnet -md cscnet1.net:24554 - D:\\mailbox2

    If you don't have a session level password, you need to use a " - "

    I'm actually having issues with netmail coming through consistently. Sometimes I can receive them, but sending them out usually results in a message that Comcast doesn't relay and Hotmail doesn't play well
    either.

    For the both of you.... this is what my sbbs.ini looks like...

    [Mail]
    AutoStart=true
    LogFile=1
    MaxClients=10
    MaxInactivity=120
    Interface=0.0.0.0
    LinesPerYield=10
    MaxDeliveryAttempts=50
    MaxRecipients=100
    RescanFrequency=3600
    SMTPPort=465
    POP3Port=110
    DefaultUser=Sysop
    DNSBlacklistHeader=X-DNSBL
    DNSBlacklistSubject=SPAM
    RelayServer=smtp.comcast.net
    RelayPort=587
    ; The following 2 keys are used if the RelayServer requires authentication
    (SMTP AUTH)
    ; Must also set one of the RELAY_AUTH options
    RelayUsername=??????
    RelayPassword=??????
    DNSServer=ns1.no-ip.com
    POP3Sound=
    InboundSound=
    OutboundSound=

    Juat add your RelayUsername and RelayPassword
