    Hello All!

I just got my BBS set up on fsxNet and am looking for a project or two that I can participate in for inter-BBS communications. I see some weather reports being sent and I could certainly provide reports from my home weather sensors. I also am involved with SETI and run a backyard radio telescope which I can provide statistics for. I am not sure if that kind of thing would interest anyone? I am a ham operator and have packet radio gear but I just took down my towers so I don't have any antennas up currently. I could do some kind of packet gateway I suppose. I am open to ideas if the group has any!

I'd be interested to read more about your radio telescope setup.

Hi Nigel. I don't have much on the BBS about it yet, and I am in the middle of rebuilding it at the moment. I had a 10 foot dish up, then switched to a small dish to use on higher frequencies but it is a bit too small. I picked up a 7 foot dish as a compromise, but I need to wait for spring so I can clean it up and paint it. I'll also need to get a bracket welded up for it. I will try and put some details on the BBS, but right now most of the details are at http://www.setidata.ca if you are interested in taking a look. I am hoping to interface the radio telescope with the BBS so I can operate it remotely and so that users can see the statistics and status. If you have any specific questions I am always eager to talk about it!
