These clear codes were in at the ANSI file level, before I converted to asc??
I couldn't determine that without looking at your .asc file - but ANSI does have a clear screen code that can be saved with the file. I
imagine that code can get converted to a Synchronet code by ans2asc
when you convert your ANSI file to .asc.
