i want to register FastEcho for the switch to renegade on my bbs.

You can reach him by sales@softeq.de or tb@softeq.de. Just
    registered my FastEcho copy!
I just e-mailed him today w/ registration info, will let ya know
when it comes in... Also added F_ECHO to the list of echo's my
BBS will be carrying.... I was using fmail, but the author
abandoned it, and I was kinda hoping to use some of the registered
features (even though I don't need it...) Not to mention, when I
can I do like to help out shareware authors....

Seems sad that programs get abandoned but I guess the authors have to see what they get out of it and not only money

FWIW: i do not see this reason as to why so many FTN programs are abandoned... from what i have observed over the years, there are several factors outside of $$$ that have been in play... accidents, bad backups, loss of interest, etc...

Sure it could be, it is hard to know. But it is still a shame that a lot of programs are not released as open source etc
