The most recent shareware version of FrontDoor is 2.26, and the most recent commercial/multi-line version is 2.33.

Probably through the defsol website. That is where I got my key for FastEcho (which is free now, BTW).

Actually, you can not register the Shareware version of FrontDoor at the moment. But you can request a free key for the Commercial/MultiLine version :)

Well, I want to at least take a serious shot at it. It's "kind of" a complex project to reboot, to put it mildly. But I'm slowly getting up to speed with it. I will try to update the reboot blog every now and then to report progress.

I've got some crazy ideas where I want to take this, but one step at a time :)

I am excited and hope you find it rewarding.

It's still painful, but I'm sure the rewards will come :)

    Thanx!!!

    And thank YOU.

Is there any OS/2 experts out there???

I use an OS/2 VM, Arca Noae, and I'm using FD/2 FE/2 and Irex/2 to send and receive mail. Anyway, I have a line in an old batch file I use to run on any windows maching, or DOS machine.... BTW it still works on my windows 10 machine.

for /f "delims=" %%x in.... See it in the section beclow??

    :Start

    @echo off
    :start
    cd\Somewhere
    for /f "delims=" %%x in ('date /t') do set date=%%x
    del joes.asc
    echo %Date% >>JOES.ASC

    ..... Much Much Much deleted....

    goto ad

    :ad
    PM /I:JOES.ASC /T:All /S:BBS AD %date% /C:21
    :Stop

That line captures the current date and then I can add it into my BBS ad txt file....

Anyway, is there a similar command for OS/2??

    Thanx

    Joe
