For a couple of years now, I haven't been able to get the Chat to work.
I'm thinking somewhere along the line my ZoneAlarm is blocking the port
needed for Chat. My problem is I don't know what port that is. Please
    inform me on this subject.

    Are you referring to?

    a) ANSI/Telnet
    b) WcNav
    c) HTTP

If you are referring to HTTP wcWeb then to the best of my recollection the
    only ports in play are:

    HTTP
    HTTPS
    Telnet (Java)

You can confirm the above by downloading SysInternals

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/sysinternals

    and launching TCPVIEW.EXE

Most issues on the HTTP side having nothing to do with ports and come down
to issues with local Java Runtime installs and/or browser specific plugins.

I would make sure you have the latest version of Java and test with at
least IE and Chome as Firefox can sometimes be problematic. Watch for any browser plugin failure or warning popups.
