So I'm not exactly new to vert, or bbs's in general, but I know nothing tends to go on here. So for the sake of conversation topic, where did some of you guys get your handles from?

A long time ago, someone made a mistake reading my "artist" name ... yes, part of it is David... I was working on a nickname to use on-line at the time...
and it has stuck... WicDavid was born and as far as I have seen, there is not
a single use of it by anyone else in the world... I could be wrong. But I am pretty sure that I am the only one who has ever used it... Now you have me thinking when that was actually.... I can not really remember...

I'm gonna bump this even though it's years dead, but in short:
I did a bit of soul-searching / "scene" identity reboot in 2012 as most
of my other handles were either dumber or longer/more cumbersome than
this one, "Telerophon", which I remember having pop into my head and
deciding I like the way it sounded. Of course, now I kind of regret how
much it sounds like "Telephone", but whatever; that's not really a bad
thing. As for why it sounds nice, I was only subliminally aware of this
when I chose the handle, but look up "Bellerophon" if you are bored
later after you log out. ;]

My handle back in the day was Bigfoot because I had size 15 feet, which was ridiculous for a 5'8" kid. Luckily as I get older, they are shrinking. ;-)

Hylian comes from my long passion with Zelda, Ocarina of time. When it first came out I thought it was the coolest game of all time. :)
