so I was using a separate install of BINKD on os2 and I could receive in Dbridge but not send, I just tried running the executable binkdos2 from the dbridge dir and all of a sudden it could send out, however it locks up the machine and its unresponsive?? Hmmmm what to look at next?

I have not tried or tested D'Bridge on ArcaOS, which is why I wrote in
the Readme that it may not work correctly on newer systems. It had
been tested to work with Warp 3 and 4 a few years ago.
I would try upgrading/replacing the BINKDOS2 executable with another version from whatever the BinkD repository is. I think that BinkD for
OS/2 requires the EMX runtime library installed.
It is not normal for an OS/2 process to lock up or crash the
computer...
