Ok. Got D'b installed and wanting to use it to set up the included
binkp server. Not quite sure where to go from here... Will continue
to work with it as it seems to want to go run into mailer mode
answering calls when it starts right out of installation.

    ... I can keep a secret, it's the people I tell who can't.

I'm assuming it was configured with a dialup modem? If so, just disable it in Config-Comm until you have the rest sorted out.

BinkdWin and BinkdOS2 are designed to be ran in a seperate window or process. The shortcut to create is BINKDxxx -C DBRIDGE.BNK.

On Windows Vista and higher, D'Bridge may have to be ran with Administrator privileges. On Windows 10, "NTVDM Legacy support" must be enabled beforehand.

Systems that D'Bridge is to exchange packets with via. BinkD are to be configured in Config-Internet, along with any other appropriate settings... Areafix, security, nodelist, Netmail routing, Echomail/Echo-file areas, etc... just like any other mailer would need.

Let me know if you need direct support or you run into any problems.

Press WIN+R and type "Optionalfeatures.exe". Then choose "Legacy", then NTVDM.

Thanks. Looks like I already had that enabled. Strange because some of my old DOS programs have NTVDM problems and cant run. However they WILL run in the COMMAND interpeter (not the CMD one). Its too bad I cant make those programs use the COMMAND interperter as default :(

In my case, and I suspect yours, W10 automatically installed and enabled NTVDM when you first tried to run a 16-bit program. Why you are having problems with
some of your 16-bit programs is a mystery. You might try placing their icons (create shortcut) on your W10 desktop and running them as Admin.

If 16-bit, I'll bet you have to do what I wrote previously. 32-bit is no problem. You can place their batch files in your startup folder.

On Windows 7 and 10, go to your control panel and open up Programs &
