Hello! I am looking for a copy of the C-128 Assembler "Merlin 128".

I have a copy of Merlin 128 in zip format.

I haven't been able to successfully transfer to .d71 image and test in >>> Vice. Haven't tried on real hardware yet.

I don't think I have docs for it.

    Hello!

That sounds great!! How could I get a copy from you?

    Thanks!!!!

I had a look at files tonight on archive that I have. The "Merlin"
program file is simple basic loader for some additional files, one of
    which is asm1.prg

I don't have this file in the zip.

So, my compilation of Merlin 128 appears to be incomplete.

    Sorry.

I think I have Buddy 128 somewhere and will try it out tomorrow night.

I had another look at Merlin 128 tonight, after working out issues of conversion form DOS zip, truncated long file names, etc, I now have a
working copy of Merlin 128 in .d71 disk format.

    No docs however.

The default screen text colour (80 column mode only) really sucks.

Do you still have a copy Merlin 128 in .d71 format? Been searching everywhere for it ....
    Thanks,
    PaulM

I'd like a copy too. Well, I didn't realize at first that you responded
    to a post from 2006...

Anyways, I found a .nib image at gametronik.com which is kind of curious
since as I understand it Merlin 128 came on an 1571 disk that wasn't
copy protected so why nibble it? I don't know if it's complete since
    it's D64 sized.

Yeah I noticed the 2006 date.... oh well, it was worth a shot. Yeah it was 1571
for sure, and not copy-protected, so the .nib confuses me too but that is the only one I have been able to see online.
