• Wraptor issue: unwrapping large files?

From Harry Potter@3:770/3 to All on Wed Mar 13 16:21:04 2019
Hi! I have Wraptor and used it to compress whole disks on the WinVice x64 emulator for installing on a *real* C64C. Now, some of these files are huge (>64k), and the C64C has only one drive and no REU. Can I still unwrap these files? Is there
anything special I need to do?

I don't know Wraptor but if it's anything link Lynx then it will dissolve
a full disk. Try it with a backup handy. If it doesn't work then maybe someone who knows what their doing will show up and help out. :-)

I just tried it on my emulator. It tried to unwrap to the same disk. I need to unwrap to a different disk on a one-drive system. Is there any other utility to decompress to a different disk? Or can I still get Wraptor to do the job?

I don't know about the VICE, although I use it too, so am not sure what
    you need.

But I also have MAME which just emulates about anything. Including
Commodore computer like the C65 (yes, 65).

I comes with a tool called Imgtool. Here's the web page: <https://www.mankier.com/1/imgtool>. If you think that can do it and not
want to install MAME mail it to me and I'll try.

    RAM Expansion Unit.

I need to decompress a Wraptor file to another disk on a one-disk system
    .

    I prefer WinVice. :)

Never mind; I have a work-around solution to the problem. :)
