Removed the memset. static variables are guaranteed to be initialized to 0, even by older compilers.

Made the file "global" var static. This should make the var auto initialized to
0 for C99 compatible compilers. But left in the memset just in case.
Expanded tab characters in client.c

To pin down a problem, one should change one thing at the time.
Perl=1 leads to crashes.
I think we have established that wit 99% probability. ;-)
I've already post additional info for Pavel in the RU.BINKD.
Now that there are at least two versions without the pearl hooks available, for
me the problem is solved. I have never used the pearl hooks and I probably never will. And now that there is a version with compression AND working IPv6, I am a happy camper.
