I though I had this figured out but when on a different BBS today, I tried using the Scrollback feature in SyncTerm to capture a url and it didn't work.

So, what's the best way to capture some text for use in another running Windows program? Like for example, a url.

This is probably a stupid question.... sorry.

    Thanks,
    Dennis

If you're using SyncTERM v1.2b, then most likely the issue is just that the BBS is capturing the mouse controls. Alt-B (scroll back) will allow you to copy/paste. And in the latest builds of SyncTERM v1.2b, Alt-O can be used to toggle the mouse reporting off/on, as well. And if it's a Synchronet BBS, you can turn off mouse reporting at the per-user-settings level (in terminal settings).
